Annette Sykes, “I hate it but they have her”

Posted in Annette Sykes on October 24, 2009 by justice4haleigh

Somer Thompson, an absolutely stunning beauty with shiny brown hair, big brown eyes and a face of pure innocence, was walking home from school and she disappeared.  She was abducted, murdered and thrown away like trash.  Disposed of with the garbage as if her life meant nothing. Her remains were found in a Georgia landfill.  As we mourn the loss of this beautiful child, tears of sorrow are shed for Somer, for her family and especially for her twin brother.  A heavy burden of fear weighs upon the community as they hold their children close.  And law enforcement searches for the killer.

We prayed that Somer would be found alive and that she would return home safe.   We now pray for justice.   Justice that can only be served when  Somer Thompson’s killer is found and brought before the people to answer for the heinous crime that took the life of  7 year old, Somer Thompson.

http://www.actionnewsjax.com/content/topstories/story/Somer-Thompson-s-funeral-services-Monday-Tuesday/rxMDVH_pREOw-TCR2iCVtA.cspx?rss=1

Memorial services for 7 year old, Somer Thompson will be Monday and Tuesday.

Ronald Cummings once told the Anthony family to “stay away” stating that HaLeigh’s disappearance and Caylee’s case were not the same.

I hope that the Cummings family will show the same courtesy to Somer Thompson’s family.  Somer’s case and HaLeigh’s case are not the same.

It is offensive and sickening that any reporter would approach any family member of Ronald Cummings for comments in regard to the tragedy that has befallen Somer Thompson’s family.  The cases are NOT similar in any way whatsoever.  There is NO comparison of any kind within these two families.

http://www.gainesville.com/article/20091023/articles/910231004&tc=yahoo

“The only similarity was that these were two missing girls,” Putnam County Sheriff’s Lt. Johnny Greenwood said. There’s really no comparison between these cases – the scenarios are totally different. One girl (Haleigh) was at home in her bed before she disappeared, and one (Somer) was walking home from school.”

From the above link:

Annette Sykes, Haleigh’s paternal great grandmother, said today that she sympathizes with Somer’s family, and she still holds out hope that Haleigh can be found alive.

THAT is NOT what Annette Sykes said.  She said, “It’s really sad and I hate that they found their little girl dead. I really do but they found her.  They have her we still don’t have our little girl back we don’t have Haleigh.”

They have her, Ms. Sykes?  They have her???  That is all you can say?

This family sent a perfectly healthy and happy child to school and recovered her remains from a landfill of garbage.  They have a deceased child that they will bury next week.  They have lost a precious gift from God.

Somer has a twin that is devastated.  Somer has parents that are suffering the most ghastly nightmare a parent can endure.  Their child was murdered.  Somer’s twin will feel this loss forever.  Somer has an older brother that suffers the lost of a precious sister and she has a ten year old sister that will forever remember the last words they ever spoke.

Justice has not been served and a murderer is still roaming free.

And all Annette Sykes can say is –   I hate it but they have her?

http://www.actionnewsjax.com/content/actionlocal/story/Haleighs-family-prays-for-Somers-family/RC4OMh68rEGoA5uutd7kBA.cspx

From the above link:

Even though finding Somer’s body was the last thing anyone hoped for, Haleigh’s family says at least Somer’s family has answers.

The Thompson family does not have answers. Their child’s remains have been recovered from the trash and the Cummings/Sykes family call that answers?  There is a hideous monster responsible for the death of Somer Thompson and that predator is still free.  The Cummings/Sykes family say “at least Somer’s family has answers” ?  NO, they still have questions.  They still need to know WHO did this and Somer Thompson deserves JUSTICE.

From the above link:  Annette Sykes said, “You hate that they found her dead but then again at least they found her and we’re still looking for Haleigh.”

Not only are Annette Sykes words callous, her words are vindictive.  Where is Annette Sykes’ outrage that a child was murdered and a murderer roams free tonight?  “at least they found her”? Where is Annette Sykes’ sympathy for the loss of this child’s life?  “they have her” ?  Where is the empathy for the heartbroken and shattered family members that love this child and will miss her forever?

Before any ronettes come forth to defend with preposterous excuses and elucidate ….I already know what Ms. Sykes meant.  She said I hate it as her way of saying I’m sorry.  She said “they have her” meaning that they no longer have to look for her, now they know what happen to her.

Well, you know what ronettes; those words are just not good enough. If Annette Sykes or any other member of the Cummings clan cannot show any more compassion than that to the family of a murdered child then they should not say anything at all.

Justice.   Anything less is unacceptable.

Riddle me this……………

Posted in Misty Croslin Cummings on October 22, 2009 by justice4haleigh

The internet is buzzing as to the extreme differences in Misty Cummings calls to 911.  Her first call was placed when Haleigh Cummings vanished over 8 months ago.  Her most recent call to 911 pertained to an alleged robbery and rough treatment during a drug run with two other females.  Misty claims she had no knowledge of the drug run, the two females Misty was with have stated they were going to buy drugs.  Misty states a black man yanked her out of the car, threw her to the ground and took her purse and cell phone.  You can view the police report for yourself, although the word “inconsistencies” has been redundant throughout this case, it can be used again in regards to this police report as well.

Misty Croslin Cummings did not call 911 immediately upon noticing Haleigh Cummings had vanished into thin air.  Instead, she allegedly searched for Haleigh and waited for Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings to arrive at home after he finished his shift at PDM.  Despite the fact that she had called Ronald many times with no answer from him, she still decided to wait until he arrived home, when he allegedly ordered her to call 911.  Misty’s first words to the 911 operator that night were “I just woke up” the alibi, she was sleeping and had no idea what was going on.  Misty established her alibi immediately, first and foremost.  She did not let the 911 operator know the most important information, that Haleigh was gone.  Instead she opted for the exact same route her boyfriend would take, establish the alibi.  The next words out of Misty’s mouth were, “and our backdoor was wide open” establishing it could not possibly be Misty involved in Haleigh’s disappearance, she was sleeping and the backdoor was wide open.  Nevermind the fact that there was no signs of forced entry, the door was wide open.  Misty continues the lies with “and we can’t find our daughter” the 911 operator asks her to repeat the lie, “you can’t find what?” Misty states “OUR daughter” the 911 operator says “ok, what’s your address?” Misty calmly says “UM, Green Lane” in which the operator asks “what’s the numerical?” and Misty switches her tone from slightly concerned to monotone “numerical, what’s that?” We’ve all hashed and rehashed the 911 call and the peculiar tones to Misty’s voice, Ronald’s temper and the many ways they both evade simple questions regarding Haleigh’s description.

Fast forward to last Saturday when Misty placed a call to 911 regarding the alleged robbery & rough treatment she received while allegedly attempting to purchase drugs.  Her first words to the 911 operator are emphasized with pleading cries and absolute terror in her voice, “OH MY GOD” Misty was so upset she couldn’t begin to find the words to describe her fear and concern regarding what had happened to her.  She stammers, asks her friend where she is at and begins to describe to the 911 operator exactly what had just happened to her.  “Some black, some black guy just jumped into my car and stole my whole purse and threw me out the car and had a gun and said he was gonna shoot me” Misty, despite suffering unknown injuries, was able to spit that sentence out in two seconds flat.  There were no “Um’s” there were no “Y’know, like” it was a straight up, honest recollection of what had just transpired.  There was no pause, no justification of alibi’s stating where she was going or what she was doing there, just an honest account of what had happened to her.  She then told the 911 operator that the robber took her purse and her cellphone.  He pulled her out of the car while the car was still moving.  Misty is sobbing into the phone, describing to the 911 operator what had just happened to her.  Further into the call, she talks to her friend and asks why the girl brought her there if she thought they were going to rob her.  Misty is obviously very shaken and in pain.  The 911 operator asks Misty if she knows what the man was wearing, Misty describes the alleged robber as wearing all black and then goes on to state she knows what direction the man ran in.  Two men held Misty while the other man took her purse and cellphone.  The unidentified woman in the background is speaking clear and concise, very calm while Misty continues to sob on the phone to the 911 operator.

While many, many thoughts run through my head regarding this latest incident, I have to wonder, as most of you are, how can Misty be this upset over being robbed, yet her concern when Haleigh was taken wasn’t even remotely this high on the 911 call.  While Misty seemed to be somewhat upset on the 911 call the night Haleigh vanished, there wasn’t the sense of urgency that Misty has in this 911 call.  There wasn’t the recollection that Misty had in this 911 call.  The description of Haleigh’s clothing wasn’t correct, yet Misty was able to identify the alleged robber’s clothing despite being injured and traumatized.  There was absolutely no hesitation in Misty’s answers to the 911 operator this time around.  She rattled off immediate answers without thinking twice to dial those three digits, 911.  As she clearly stated, everything she had was in that purse and obviously, whatever she had in that purse meant a whole lot more than a 5 year old child who seemingly vanished off the face of the earth and who Misty professed to love like her own.

You are able to draw your own conclusions pertaining to the two very different 911 calls but one thing is for certain that most of us can agree on, a purse does not remotely compare to a 5 year old missing child.

What further strikes me as odd is the fact that it was Misty who dialed 911, Misty who spoke to 911 and Misty who stayed on the line with 911, even though she was the only person who seemed to have suffered any injuries during the robbery.  The woman who was speaking in the background was calm and collected, why wasn’t she the one to call 911?  Though Misty continued to cry and sob, the unidentified woman in the background continued to let Misty talk to the 911 operator.  A few weeks ago it was road rage with another driver at the wheel.  This week it is a drug deal gone bad with another driver at the wheel.  Coincidental timing? Perhaps.  One thing is for certain, Misty is not surrounded by people who have her best interests at heart, rather it seems to me that Misty Croslin-Cummings will ultimately be her own worst enemy.

MISTY CROSLIN:” Ouch… you’re hurting me. I just woke up.”

Posted in Misty Croslin Cummings on October 20, 2009 by justice4haleigh

On  February 10, 2009 at approximately 3:27 AM, Misty Croslin called 911 to report that she had  awaken to find the kitchen light on, the back door propped open and five year old, HaLeigh Cummings missing from her bed.

What is the truth?  Misty’s first story was that she woke up to get a drink of water.  Then she said she woke up to go to the bathroom.  And Misty’s most recent version, as she stated during a voice analyst test, is that she does not know why she woke up.  She “just woke up from a deep sleep, just woke up.”

I read a comment recently that was posted on a blog that was once a popular discussion forum but has since suffered an untimely demise due to the biased moderation and lack of cognitive skills as displayed by the one and only moderator.  I was able to copy and save the post before the moderator deleted it.  The author of the post is unknown and has been banned from that blog.  Therefore, I cannot give credit to the person that found this information and wrote the post, however, I do extend my appreciation to the author for bringing this information to our attention.  I have listened to the 911 call numerous times and I did not hear Misty say, “Ouch, you’re hurting me”, until I read the following post and listened to the 911 call again.

Unknown author quoted……

Here are some things I have heard on the 911 call that are not being reported. I have become obsessed with this case and listened to this call hundreds of times. Here is a link for the call should you want to hear it yourself:

http://www.truecrimereport.com/2009/02/police_say_haleigh_cummings_di.php

At 00:37 Seconds into call – MISTY CROSLIN: Oh! … Read More
RONALD RON CUMMINGS, HALEIGH`S FATHER: (How did you let my daughter get stole in the middle of the night?)

At 02:41 minutes into the call: 911 OPERATOR: Okay, Let me get your name and phone number
MISTY CROSLIN: My name is
911 OPERATOR: Spell your last name
(MISTY CROSLIN: Stop…
RON CUMMINGS: Get off the phone

MISTY CROSLIN: Ouch… you’re hurting me. I just woke up)

At 04:27 minutes into the call: 911 OPERATOR: … do not touch anything. Make sure (RON CUMMINGS: (INAUDIBLE): The mother f@#$er is open, the latch is sideways, the mother f@#$er had a key) because we`re going to try to get a K-9 out there, OK?

Now Ron sounds really angry and is NOT calling his daughter’s name at all in this recording. All the info I have researched states that he came home at 3:24 and the call to 911 was placed at 3:27. I don’t believe that 2-3 minutes is enough time for anyone to search a doublewide trailer looking for their daughter. I have 3 children and if I had just arrived home to the sitter telling me my daughter is gone I would be screaming and calling for her as I am looking for her throughout the house while the sitter is on the phone with 911. I cannot hear him say Haleigh’s name not one time on this entire recording.

I believe that Ron knows something that he is not telling and that Misty is scared of him. Misty and Ron got into an argument at 8:30 pm Monday (2/9/09) on their cell phones from what I understand about Haleigh not going to sleep for Misty per a report I read regarding a co-worker over hearing the call. I believe that Ron slipped away from work un-noticed and went home to try and get Haleigh to sleep. What happened after that is anybody’s guess but I feel that they both are lying and she was not taken. How is it that he is so quick to assume she has been “stole”? Ron has also made the comment that “you keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. Why does he consider her an enemy? Does she have something on him? He constantly flip-flops when NG asks him direct questions regarding does he believe Misty or not. Why on God’s earth would you marry someone that you believed had something to do with the loss of your daughter? I don’t know….maybe I have just been looking at this for too long but my gut tells me that Ron has more to do with this than anybody believes. Another thing…Ron has stated over and over that he does not do drugs…but no one has asked him if he sells drugs! I am the single parent of three children and I have never owned 3 vehicles as he does (check out the marital separation agreement to confirm his ownership of the 3 vehicles). This man has not had a steady job for years (he only worked at PDM for less than a year) and is able to afford name brand clothes for his children (one video clip I saw of GM Naves showed clothes in Haleigh’s closet still with tags on them), support a 17 year-olds cigarette habit (as well as his), own 3 vehicles and rent or own a doublewide trailer? He is NOT the perfect man or father that so many make him out to be.

The author of the above post provided a link to the 911 call.  The comments provided by the author are substantiated in the 911 call and there is no reason the author’s post should have been deleted.  The questions the author asked are reasonable questions.  So why was this post deleted?  One reason.  The self serving agenda of one moderator seeking attention and praise from a small group of pathetic followers.

There are questions that have not been asked nor answered.  There are questions that have been asked and answered with lies. There are people that know what happen to this child and are hiding.

What was Ronald Cummings doing to Misty to cause her to cry out in pain?  Why did Ronald Cummings hang up on the 911 operator not once but three times?   What is he mumbling in the back ground of the call?  Why did he make Misty call 911 instead of making that important call himself?  Why does he speak clearly when threatening to kill people but he whines when the 911 operator asks questions about HaLeigh and he refuses to answer yet offers up his alibi that he was at work?  Why is his first statement to the 911 operator his alibi?

Ronald Cummings, “I just got home from work and my five year old daughter is gone.  I need someone to be here now.”

HaLeigh Cummings is six years old and has been missing since February 10, 2009.  HaLeigh has a beautiful smile, wavy blonde hair, stands approximately three feet tall and weighs approximately 39 pounds.

“How the f*** you let my daughter get stole, b*tch”

Posted in Ronald Cummings on October 19, 2009 by justice4haleigh

The lies, all the lies that surround Haleigh’s disappearance over 8 months ago.  The immediate lie began when Misty Croslin, the 17 year old babysitter claimed Haleigh as her own daughter on the 911 call, when Haleigh vanished into this air.  Yet when we take a closer look, we see and hear a grieving father on the 911 call……….or do we?

Ronald Cummings spoke 18 words to the 911 operator before he mentions killing the person who is responsible for taking his daughter.  18 words that did not involve a description of his daughter, her age, her accurate weight, her hair color, her hair length, her distinguishing marks, her date of birth, her height, her weight, her clothing, nothing.  Not even so much as her name.  Ronald Cummings first words to the 911 operator were,  ”I just got home from work, my five-year-old daughter is gone- I need someone here now.”  The most important thing to Ronald Cummings was establishing his alibi to the 911 operator, first and foremost.  “I just got home from work” next came the elusive and evasive description of Haleigh, his five year old daughter whom had vanished into thin air, “my five year old daughter is gone” no name, no description, just “his” five year old daughter.  Yet, he let Misty carry on a full conversation that eluded to the fact that Misty was Haleigh’s mother.  Why did Ronald not state “our daughter” as Misty had already established? Two different stories from the get-go.  It is blatantly obvious he heard Misty telling the 911 operator that Haleigh was being described as ”our” daughter, yet when Ronald speaks to the 911 opeartor, he establishes that Haleigh is “his” daughter.   The lies have begun immediatelyand both of them seem to go off script from the start, which ultimately resulted in the many inconsistencies le has referenced to time and time again.

The next line Ronald Cummings delivers to the 911 operator is, “if I find whoever has my daughter before you all do, I’m killing them…I don’t care- I will spend the rest of my life in prison….you can put that on the recording…I don’t care.”  While Nancy Grace and others may believe this was the emotional mind of a grieving and upset father, I find this statement to be that of a man who has an extremely guilty conscience, one who is sending a subliminal message that he doesn’t care if he goes to prison for his participation in Haleigh’s disappearance, prison doesn’t scare him.  Or so he states.  Why would a man, a father, be bringing up prison and harming others when he does not know for certain if his daughter has been taken by a stranger at this point? How can he state that to his 17 year old girlfriend “how the f*** you let my daughter get stole, bitch?” in one breath and yet in the very next breath state he is going to kill whoever took his daughter? Ronald Cummings is busy blaming every one around him, yet the first sentence he blurts out to the 911 operator is that of giving himself an immediate alibi, he was at work.  Covering his tracks with his alibi, pointing the finger in every direction except at himself.

The next question the 911 operator asks Ronald Cummings is what kind of pajama’s Haleigh was wearing.  Instead of asking his 17 year old live in girlfriend what the child was wearing, he screams out “I don’t f****** know”.  At this time, neither Ronald, nor Misty have made it clear to the 911 operator that they are not husband and wife and that Misty is not Haleigh’s Mother.  The lies continue.

After the 911 operator talks to Misty about the door, Ronald again mentions prison, “they better bring f’ing something out here- because if I get my hands on that mother f’er I’m going to kill him…I don’t give a f%*)@# about prison…mother F’ing prison doesn’t scare me.” The continuous mention of prison should have been enough to make red flags appear like wildfire.  Why the fascination w/prison? Why wouldn’t the focus, at this time, be on Haleigh and her whereabouts instead of the constant mention of prison and killing the person who has her?  Wouldn’t your immediate thoughts be that of concern for your child and only your child?

When the 911 operator then asks what Haleigh’s date of birth is, Ronald again says, “I’m going to f’ing kill somebody”  That is at least three times he has said he is going to kill someone in a matter of minutes.  Does this not concern anyone? Is this truly the way a loving and caring father behaves when a child goes missing? Can we point to one other case on this planet where a parent has reacted this way on a 911 call concerning a lost/abducted child? Evasive answers, hanging up on 911 operators, threats, verbal abuse, avoiding giving any accurate details whatsoever? Allowing a 17 year old babysitter to make the 911 call to begin with? A 17 year old babysitter who is unable to answer the questions about Haleigh’s weight, date of birth, eye color, hair color, clothing description.  A 17 year old babysitter who had previously been on a drug binge the weekend prior to Haleigh’s disappearance.  What parent would allow that to happen? What parent would let a teenage babysitter give vital information to a 911 operator concerning the disappearance of their 5 year old daughter at 3:30 in the morning?

Finally, Ronald ends the 911 call with the following, “where is my f’ing phone…we’ve got better people to talk to then some mother f’ers who ain’t coming.”  Who are these “better people to talk to” in regards to a missing 5 year old child? Superman? Wonder Woman? Batman? Exactly, which superhero did Ronald Cummings have in mind to speak with? Evidentally, these “better people to talk to” were none other than Lisa Croslin (Misty’s Mother), Teresa Neves (Ronald Cummings Mother) & Annette Sykes(Ronald Cummings Grandmother).  Ronald claimed he had better people to “talk” to, yet he never once “talked” in the entire 911 call.  He either cried, yelled, screamed or mumbled on the 911 call.  He never once gave pertinent information to the 911 call.  Rather, he accused his teenage girlfriend of letting his daughter get “stole” and sprinkled it with verbal abuse.  On at least two occasions on the 911 call, he accused his teenage girlfriend, Misty Croslin with allowing his child to be taken out of his mobile home.  The very next morning he dramatically changed his tune, lashing out at any reporter who even remotely questioned Misty’s involvement.  Why?

It is my opinion that in order to find Haleigh, you must come full circle and find the answers in the original 911 calls.  It is also my opinion that from these 911 calls, Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin hold every single answer pertaining to the whereabouts of Haleigh Cummings.

It has been stated that Ronald called Misty over 20 times that night.  He called even called Misty’s brother.  Why then, with such urgency played up on his part, would he stop after work to pick up two packs of cigarettes, two bags of peanuts and a can of beer? If he were truly as concerned as he seemed to be during his shift at work, why would he take his time getting home? Wouldn’t the urgency be higher by the time he clocked out of work? And, if he really was the caring and loving father that he claimed to be, why would he call Misty’s brother when he was unable to reach Misty? Misty afterall, was in charge of taking care of Ronald’s two children.  Why wouldn’t Ronald call his Mother or his Grandmother if he was unable to check on the well being of his children? In Ronald’s own words, the “better people to call” while he was at work, should have been his Mother & Grandmother.  Not Misty’s brother, Tommy.

Yes, Ronald’s behavior during this entire case has been mind numbing.  The excuses extended on his behalf have been plentiful.  However, the flat out lies that have been told, the mistruths that have been conjured up have been more than extreme and to a little 6 year old girl who is still missing, none of it has been fair nor has justice even remotely taken place.
